Campaign: How can we recycle the plastic garbage patch?
Create reefs where needed by forming the plastic into shapes likened to a reef. Allow spaces for undersea plant growth.

I suppose the plastic would need to be pre-coated in some inert and sturdy materials to avert the breakdown of the plastics in the rear over time into micro plastics??

The problem is that plastic will leach chemicals into the water for decades to come. It must be eliminated.
