Phase out synthetic fibers
Campaign: How do we deal with all the poisonous microplastics now entering the food chain?
Our polyester and nylon blended clothes are constantly shedding microfibers especially in the wash. That\'s 100s of 1000s of fibers going straight into the water supply. Make an immediate pledge to phase out synthetic fibers and incentivize natural fiber producers, like hemp and cotton.

I\'d like to add if we got serious about phasing out synthetic fibers then we\'d also need somewhere to dispose of synthetic clothing, rugs, curtains etc. without just throwing in the dump.
