What is an ideation?
The word “ideation” in general refers to the process of generating ideas. However, “ideation” also has a specific meaning within our platform. It refers to the topic area for a collection of ideas. For example, under the Energy & Emissions goal, the ideations are 4 Degrees Warmer and Climate Friendly Energy.
How long do I have to submit ideas?
The Fix the Planet campaign accepts new ideas from April 22 – June 3, 2019.
What is a good idea?
A good idea is an idea that sparks other ideas. Not every idea is practical for development, however that does not mean it is a bad idea. Absurd, irrational and even silly ideas can be the starting point for real solutions.
Can I change or delete my idea?
There is no need to delete an idea, just come up with a new one! You can comment on your own idea if you have something to add.
I have an idea about another topic that I don't see, how can I add it?
Please contact us! We’d love to hear your idea and look into how we can work together.
How can I share my expertise about one of these campaigns or ideas?
You can comment on an idea and share your insights, or you can contributed your own idea. You can reach out to Fix the Planet. Sign up for our newletter on the homepage to learn more about getting involved.
How many ideas can I submit?
You can submit as many ideas as you can come up with! You can also rate and comment on other ideas.
What happens to my idea after I submit it?
After your idea enters the Fix the Planet interface, other people around the world are able to see it and comment on it. It might get linked to another idea if our AI finds a compelling pattern between them, or it could spark a whole new campaign. So you never really know where your idea might end up!
Can I submit an idea in a language other than English?
Yes. Our AI can understand and work with ideas in many other languages. It’s best to comment in English but we welcome idewas from other languages and will work to get them translated.
What is Earth Day?
The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, activated 20 million Americans from all walks of life and is widely credited with launching the modern environmental movement. Since then, the Earth Day Network has grown to be the world’s largest recruiter to the environmental movement, working with more than 75,000 partners in nearly 192 countries to build environmental democracy. Who is responsible for Fix the Planet?
Innovation360 Group is leading their intiative, powered by ideation360, which will launch on April 22 and accept ideas from the public though June 3. After that data experts and AI algorithms analyze the results and produce a report on their findings. Fix the Planet is sponsored by a number of organizations, including the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in New York and Giant Innovation.
